RULES OF THE "HALLOWEEN GAME".
1. Lock all doors and windows.
2. Turn out the lights, except for one small one at the end of the hallway, or in another room. (if candles are used, place where they will not get knocked off of tables and do not place near curtains or other flameable items, let an adult be incharge of lighting it and handling it.)
3. Turn off all radios and televisions, and tell your friends not to call you over the phone. And sit on the floor around a table if you can.
4. Pop a large bowl of popcorn, cover it with alot of butter, or have a large bowl of chips or snack crackers and make sure you have plenty of drinks on the table where you will be sitting around, and make sure you have plenty of napkins for everyone. (you don't want to have to get up and go to the kitchen, something might be in there waiting for JUST YOU ! )
5. Make sure everyone goes to the bathroom, (before you start the party, we wouldn't want an accident.)
6. Pick out a story you can read without anyone helping you. You also need a story that can be read in less than an hour. (sometimes old stories are the best, especially if its about your town, check with your local historical society of haunted places in your town.)
7. Have everyone sit close together. (you don't want any ghosts getting between you.)
8. Make sure everyones parents gives permission, (before the party) for their child to listen to a scary story.
9. Don't ever tell a ghost your not afraid of them. ( they will show you who is boss.)
10. Have fun and when your finished with the story, let everyone talk about what they thought was the scary part. (next time you will know what kind of story to pick out.)
